THE STORY
When the Whitehouse Hotel was built in 1912 it quickly became an icon in the valley and garnered a prestigious reputation across the prairies. Over the years it expanded its services, eventually housing 98 rooms and becoming the business hub of Drumheller. In 1937 it caught fire and was ravaged by the flames. The hotel was rebuilt shortly after but burned down again in 1980, never to be resurrected.
