THE STORY
The Mesozoic Era, also known as the “Age of Reptiles”, was a remarkable time in geological history spanning 186 million years. During this time dinosaurs evolved and grew to enormous heights walking alongside many reptiles such as turtles, snakes, lizards and crocodiles. Back then Drumheller was on the coast of an interior seaway and the environment was a lush, subtropical forest – contrary to the barren badlands we see here today.
